Eastern Oregon | My dad's neighbor had a Billy goat that kept getting loose and getting into my dad's stack yard. His neighbor told him if we could catch him, he wanted to load him up and take him to auction.
This Billy had to go almost 400# of solid muscle. Big round horns and boy did he stink! We managed to get him corralled, but he was a bit ornery about loading in the trailer. Twice, he turned around and would take to run us over to get out of there. He was a handful, but we got him loaded.
When we pulled into the unloading gate at the auction, a teenage girl came over to help us. She was of average size and wanted his scrapie tag number or something. As she went around the back of the trailer, we all jumped up on the sides to look in. We didn't want to miss this action, because he wasn't cooperative and that little teenage girl was in for a surprise.
That Billy tried to get rough with her and she spun him in a headlock, banged him against the trailer, cranked him around a bit and it was over just that fast. We couldn't believe it! That Billy didn't stand a chance... | |
