Yep, that is exactly what I am saying ahay!! If that is what you get out of that comment of mine then......... WOW!! I just don't have anything else to say.
Im just raisn rates as expenses go up just like a business in town does. You have too run it like a business if u want to stay profitable. thats all Im doing.
You see, this is partly why I don't understand your way of thinking. Just because you go buy a new baler, a high priced SP mower, a high priced rake, too big of tractors that drink fuel, that THAT justifies your need to have high rates and then complain that you don't make enough money doing it! There's a reason people are still charging what they are for custom haying and just because YOU think they aren't making any money at it doesn't mean they aren't. They're probably just smarter with their money than you are.
