To the original poster: do you actually own or operate farm land, or do you just work on a farm? Because that makes a difference to them. Most of the major farm pubs look at acres, crops, livestock you are operating, then decide if you are a good outfit to show their advertisements too.

I found when I reached a certain acreage level, I started getting more pubs. because I apparently was good enough to get their stuff.

Don't worry, you aren't missing very much. They all have a file cabinet with about 50 article topics ready to go, and they just rotate through them every year like clockwork. Picking the right hybrids in December.
Planter tune ups in February,
Weed control in March
Fungicides in June
Tune up the combine in August
Marketing advice is always the same: "it is volatile, could go up or down, buy lots, and lots of options.
