Subject: RE: Annual combine hours and fees

I had our local dealer inspect our JD9600 this year just to have a different set of eyes have a look around. What a waste of money. A couple of the bearings that he recomended replacing turned out to be fine. And he missed a couple that did need replaced. Same thing with belts. And he missed a broken bolt that holds the straw walker gear case onto its shaft. Then the bill comes in $155 dollars higher than what I was quoted. The quote for an inspection was $450. They charged me that, and $80 for driving out, (15 miles.), and $75 for typing up the inspection report. I will pay the $450.
