| I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago. And I did get a ticket for failing to signal. Lost three points and a fine.
I was never so happy to see the guy get out of the rolled over pickup and come walking up to me.
It was on a slight curve, in a no passing zone and he had to be speeding to have caught me from when i had checked my rear view. It didn't make any difference to the cop, I hadn't signaled so it was my fault. You know how much people pay attention to signals on a tractor. No one got hurt and a lesson was learned.
