I doubt that one of those cheap ac's would hold up in the environment you're contemplating (vibration, dust, etc. etc.) Air conditioners are some of the (if not the) most expensive equipment on our farm. I must like 'em though, just bought another tractor with one of the dang things. Can't live in a cab here in Tennessee this time of year without it ("it's not the heat, it's the humidity"). Four post makes for a long dusty day, but is good for quick chores like maybe a couple hours of mowing hay, as long as it isn't me doing it :-)
