I've had both, minivan- made 20+mpg and wasn't bad to drive and couldn't get home at night when it snowed, yukon - made 15 and less mpg, got most everyplace, wasn't a good substitute for a pickup, but was fairly nice to drive although gutless. Since I didn't have a big family I got a Nissan Murano.
