Subject: Re: I'm not a FedEx fan

Adelaide Hills, South Australia
You should try getting something sent to Australia. I have tried all companies, often don't get a choice. I can't work out how the rate varies so much from the States. UK delivery to here is often only 20% of the cost, then suddenly someone will send it cheaper from the States. I can't figure it out. Place in US just sent me the wrong farm toy. Its cheaper to keep it than send it back. Now they can't say if they can ship the one I want to Australia, they said can we send it to someone in the US for you? REALLY? Australian company just took 4 months to get me toy parts, at twice the cost.
It's still cheaper to buy tractor parts and farm toys from overseas than here in Oz. Even with ridiculous freight costs. We really get a raw deal. How can I import it cheaper than a company bringing in shipping container loads? Even with Fedex! Anyone want to go into business sending parts to me in Australia?
