There are a couple of pieces you need to change out if it was factory no-chopper. There is an adjustable deflector fin that needs to replace your current pyramid looking piece with rubber hanging off of it, on the chopper backboard (sheet directly behind fuel tank.) If one spinner or side is being loaded more than the other you adjust that fin. Also make sure the little triangle piece is in the middle of your tail pan (where it dumps on to the spreaders.) Also there is a faster pulley or two-speed pulley kit to make your spreaders spin faster. And also the curved, metal bats and there are adjustment holes on the spinners where you can pitch them forward, they will sling material a little further that way.

I am pretty happy with my factory chopper and they way it spread, but I only run a 30' head. I did run with a friend with a TSR and his chopping and spreading job was always terrible compared to mine. Hope you have better luck.
