Subject: Easy to fix.

SW OH
As stated above the plastic bushing wears out, then the eyelet in the molded plastic end on the master cylinder pushrod gets oblonged and the master cylinder does not travel far enough even when putting a dent in the floor board with the pedal. Use a pair of vise girps and break all the plastic off of the pushrod. Weld the side of a thick 3/8" flat washer to the end of a 3" long 1/8" pipe nipple. Slip the nipple on the rod and put washer on pin in pedal. Put enough BB's in the nipple to adjust the travel for the clutch to work properly. Took me twenty minutes to make and has been working for 70,000 miles now. A lot cheaper than a new master cylinder........Mitchco
