Best mileage or cheapest per mile? Tough to beat the price of LPG... Fill a big tank at home in the summer for $1.10 or so per gallon, have a big enough tank in the vehicle to make a couple day's trips... A pickup getting 12-15 mpg on LPG is the same cost as one getting 30-40 on gas.
