On my planter the marks were poor. What I found was that the marker disks were laying over and putting more face on the ground than edge. I took off the angle brackets between Marker arm and marker disk bearing That had bent beyond 90 degrees and so smashed them in my hydraulic press to be flatter than a 90 degree bend, and welded in some gussets so they won't smash again. Now my disks are more on edge and they cut a good mark.
