I have used my Lenox holesaw's on Stainless, take it as slow as you can. I have used the lube that Winters sells with his bits, and better yet some green stuff from Kimball Midwest called Hard Kut, That should do the trick for you...
Speed is the biggy, you should be fine....Carbide burrs will work on the thin stainless to enlarge a hole too....again slow speed.
