Alberta, Canada | Everyone knocks the old enamel machinery paints the companies spray on their equpiment. I have a couple 7-8 year old NH 575 square balers that were looking pretty dull! Especially the tops where the hay sits on all summer and gets damp at times. Actually it was getting in real bad condition on the twine box lid where all the hay dust settles. The balers get washed good every fall and stored inside. The paint wasn't faded too bad but totally lost its shine and finish. I was doing some maintance on one in the shop so a took out my angle power polisher with a foam pad and some Mequires heavy cut cleaner. In no time it brought that paint back to a factory new shine! Of course once I started I had to all the darn sheet metal. But it didn't take long with the polisher.
I wish I would have took a before picture as it was pretty bad.
