Ridgway, IL | I'm gonna cull the bottom end of the calves I had, then combine them into 1 pen. That will open up a pen for these. I do like starting them in this narrower alleyway, makes it easier to pull any calves and you can pen them up close to the feed so they are kinda forced to find it. I like it enough that we are working on making some better wooden bunks. Those split tiles worked ok for a quick solution, but aren't tough enough to last multiple go arounds.
