Croswell, Michigan
I plumbed the motor with two 5' pieces of hose by passing everything else and worked back from there. When the motor ran, I next hooked up the flow control using the same two short hoses, then tried to run it through the complete system and that's when it stopped working again. Went back to one short hose and tried to return the oil back to the tractor through the longer lines, still nothing. The bad hose was the next hose in line. you couldn't see the bad spot looking at the end of the fitting. I blew air through this hose and it went through but didn't sound right. This hose was only about 14" long so I held it up to the light and could see any light through it no matter how much I tried to get it straight. Took a welding rod slid it it one end but wouldn't slide into the other that's how I found it was crushed. I am ashamed to tell how many hours I spent on this and all the oil spots on the shop floor from each time I took it apart.
