People were crashing into things long before cell phones and autosteer.
Like a story a former BTO told me about one of his guys running a 4850 up on to a big concrete siphon riser, back when a 4850 was a new tractor. No cell phones or auto steer back then. The guy hit it square and all that was needed was a new front driveshaft.
