Northwest Tennessee | Bought a 4 row pickup JD7100 project planter to fix up and use for re plants or re sale. It has the old style plate type hopper and seed drive. Can you still get parts for this setup ? Couple of the hoppers really need replacing. Can you convert it to the seed meter/finger pickup style hopper/drive ? Looks like you can still get the lustran seed plates. As well as closing wheel assemblies, gauge wheel arms, etc.... though more price than I want to spend. Assuming the gauge wheel tires and dish halves are the same as the later models. Any help appreciated. | |
