I had a freightliner set up that way, only it had 3 rods running back up each side of the frame. Had a 2 inch hardened pin in the front. It came out of the oil field that way.We pulled on it hard enough that the pin weld/merged with the plate. Had quite a time getting it loose. We only had 3 wreckers hooked on 2 were semi type. All were chocked and had the front wheels about a foot off the ground.
