Mine did about what yours did, only the fuel leak around the back of the governor was a gusher. I ended up rebuilding the whole pump and governor and it really needed it. the pic in the other guys post does not look like mine, which is serial #9152 and it is a direct injection motor. The glass filter under the exhaust manifold is a water separator, not a filter. Take yours off and make sure it is completely clean, and not leaking around the glass. had to replace that too. here is a picture of the right side of the motor on mine. after I r&r'd the pump I also put new injectors in it. Now this is set to no more than the factory hp which is only 140. This will use about 5 gal/fuel an hour like this pushing pretty steady. It also will pull down enough it seems a little doggy but will still spin the tracks. If you jack up the power and start leaning on trees then your finals will probably not stand up for long. Just fyi.. it runs just fine like it is, I think.
