I ride motorcycles too. 50 or 55 is way too fast to carry a child.
I have never ridden a sidecar equipped bike, or a trike, but I have been told that the handling is completely different. You need to forget everything you know about riding and learn all over again. Think about riding a bike without being able to lean.
Anybody got a sidecart (motorcycle) for their young'un?
