Just take a look at my two indoor-outdoor temps last July 23, middle of the afternoon.
The sensor for the left one was in the sun - 114. The right one in the shade - 104.
And not really ice cold indoors.
I do wish it would warm up. But it can rain quite a bit more and make me happy.
