Near-north Ontario, French River | Do they need a warrant if all they are doing is going door to door? No idea on US laws but if they don't actually enter the house do they need a warrant? As others have said given the circumstances I would welcome the police into my house. If anyone refused that would send up a huge red flag , the house would probably be surrounded and depending on the circumstances a warrant would be gotten or raid would take place. I have to ask, if you were in the neighbourhood, why would you refuse police entry? |
