In answer to your question foolishfarmer, I never had both big toes get attacked at the same time thank God. The best way to tell is get a blood test. Tell them you want the uric acid levels tested and might as well get your PSA, triglycerides, colesterol etc. checked. Won't take any more blood to do a full profile!
