Blooming where I am planted! | School, good advice. I built up a flock when I moved here just over a year ago. I sell eggs in town--quite a few of them in fact. We butchered our own chickens last year, and I participated in every aspect, from slitting throats to plucking to gutting to cutting up. Felt completely natural, didn't turn green either. This spring I put a bunch of eggs in my incubator and got a hatch rate of 90% of fertile eggs. I was pleased with this as it was my first time hatching out eggs. |
