South side beaver tail style over hang works real good.. We on our first barn had a 6ft.. On our newer barns went to 8ft.. Works great.. As far as inside its nice but there are issue with that also.. Pic 1 is 8ft on our dry cow barn.. Pic 2 is a milking group 6 ft..
