Subject: Re: Ready to plant corn

Summit County, Ohio
my friend i have planted my last corn with my KMC generationII rip-strip machine last year. I will not miss that thing one bit. Its heavy, its slow going down the road its a pain to back up in the corners. Mind you i had a custom hitch built to pull my planter behind it. It made for some nice corn, but the spraying after that is hard on the body. I see yours looks to be shear bolt, had that for many many years, we upgraded to automatic resets. You must not have many rocks in your area, because i would go through hundreds of shear bolts. They actually pull pretty easy given what they are doing. yours looks like a very nice rig. Have you benn doing it a long time?
