yes, go ahead and buy. the company itself wont legally screw you, but you have to send in a tax exemption form every damn time you buy. We told them that if they cant remember to file the damn thing, we will forget how to log in. Havent bought anything since to try that out.
they tack on 10 percent to the buyer, and 2 percent (last I heard) to the seller, so everyone gets hit, verus auctiontime and big iron, where it is just to the seller (like any type of consignment sale, live or internet) and none to the buyer. for this reason alone, I dont like purple wave nearly as much.

like ANY online auction, try to preview it, otherwise bid it as if everything was a lie, because it occasionally is. We have allways been at least satisfied, if not happy with all our online purchases, but my old man is super cheap, and we bid a little over scrap price. :)
