nc ks | we are switching from a 2002 1770NT to a 2006 1770NT CCS. On the 02 there was a wire that was with the frame box that we had to run back out the back window to where we mounted the compressor. It got its power through the trailer light plug. On the 06 the wire for the compressor comes out of the wiring harness back on the planter hitch and they had the compressor mounted back there. BUT, we can't get power to that plug either. We just had our old planter hooked to the same tractor and everything worked fine so i don't think it is tractor problems. I can't find any open plug that you would put axillary power into and like you said the book doesn't cover it. I wanted to hang my compressor in the cab under my monitor bar in the front right corner anyway, so I am going to plug the compressor into the power strip in the cab. I am going to be real interested though in the answers you get as to why that wire is not energized. | |
