south Texas , York Rife Freemason
Deere had fully mastered a very reliable tractor in 1961 ,It was a 3-4000 series .

By the days of the 4x40"s it was a fully perfected ,low maintence tractor .

Now we have gone backwards to a reliabilty level ,not seen since farmers farmed with horses ,In fact they were likley more reliable .

I dont think its all the electronics fault ,I think its JUNK electronic parts sorced from third world countries ,the low bidder .

Alot of people cuss the old IH 86 series ,but our 886 NEVER had a service call from the dealer ,And i have spent very little keeping it up .
Largest expences has been a front axle pivot ,PTO clutches tires and oil/filter service
