Subject: Tanks

Hillsboro, AL

Those tanks came from up in your neck of the woods.  They were made by Michigan Metal Craft.  My tanks hold 475 gallons.  You can get up to 600 gallons if you remove the 2 auxiliary fuel pods on the right had side.

Fast Distributing started making track tanks shortly after I bought mine.  The Fast tanks have more capacity and I would look at them if I were buying again.

I have had very little trouble from the tanks.  We did lower the front mounts some to create more of a sump effect.  I can have trouble loosing prime when going up a steep hill with less than 100 gals. left.  I would not consider plastic for "inside the track" tanks.  The tanks sit too close to the tracks.  I would be very concerned about damage from something stuck to the tracks.
