Northeast Iowa | I got this pick up head from the t-boss back lot. That is were he keeps the treasure. It fits as you can see, and it turns under power. New chains and a few minor things done but plenty is still ahead. Rebuild some chain sprockets, replace all pick up teeth, couple new bearings.... I know I am missing something on the list. A few things are a bit seized up and most the bolts break when we take them off, easier that way I suppose.
Plus the chopper needs a few parts replaced for this years running, I have them but it is getting more interesting... Such as one of the many previous owners welding a broken chain sprocket and just welding it to the shaft for extra strength not like anybody will ever need to get it off to replace a few other parts.
But I have hope! And that is worth something.... but hope doesn't always have a great roi......... | |
