Sounds like you have a great plan. I'm a weekend warrior myself, bout 250 acres of corn, beans. Sounds like you got all the equipment you need for the acres you have. Wait to see how the soil tests and then make the soil improvements first. Hay is a hit and miss deal. I mean some years you can name your price and the next year you can't hardly give it away. Sure, hay has some value this year and maybe that's the way to go for you. Let someone else make it and you just sell it for cash. But at least with row crops, that is corn, beans, or even spuds like you have now you always have a market for it. Good luck.
