Slicker than a Yes album.
No sap running here yet. Gonna be a day or two yet.

We also get really dark color to ours. Though, a blind taste test between that and AA Light Amber Vermont Pure, the tester couldn't tell a difference.

The big operations sometimes use reverse osmosis to take out some water, then evaporator to boil it down. We boil about 400 gal at a time, steel tank and firebox (lined with bricks). That gives us about 10ish gallons that fit nicely in a SS cream can.
