East west is easiest for wind protection from hot dry winds. NE/SW is all we plant our milo at not for wind protection but lodging potential. And when all possible we try the same with corn as it isnt uncommon to get 80 mph winds at harvest. And if it goes down its easier to pick up as usually those storms are from the NW
Which way?
