ecmn | our p1 levels are in the 50 average range, k levesl average somewhere around 250. for our climate the in furrow pop up is just that, a product to help get that seed germinated and out of the ground. we do not use it to replace any of our dry fertilizer.
for what it is worth i ran 6 gpa of alpine 6-24-6 in furrow on soybeans and didnt see any damage. i am going to try some in furrow mixtures to see if one helps soybeans or not. soybeans respond well to timed foliar applications, and a good shot of ran later in the season. they can recover well from early stress and make a great yield so its tough to see how an in furrow product can really help them. | |
