Looks great Dave! I was wondering if you know off the top of your head how much sand you use to keep the free stall barn bedded? Just curious
Jonathon, I have figured it before, but don't remember exactly. Close I would say is 28 ton to bed 80 stalls with about 75 cows in barn for 3 weeks or slightly longer. I tried to get a month on a bedding and just couldn't do it. Usually get 4 triaxle loads at a time (20 or mre tons each) and get 3 fills or beddings ,I think. |
