We usually harvest middle to end of July. This particular field is irrigated so 200 lbs N for 200 bushel corn. The dryland corn will get 160 lbs N going for 150-160 bushels on a good year. My dryland soil is a lot better Texas blackland comparted to the irrigated ground which is sandier ground.
