Subject: Re: BTO working ground in the snow

NE Colorado
The oldtimers told me never to plow snow under and I didn't believe them so one time that it snowed I plowed under about three inches of snow. It plowed okay because the ground underneath was still somewhat dry. This was in the fall.

Well, the next year you could tell just where the snow got plowed under, the corn wasn't as good and I have no idea why.

Don't know if the same holds true for mixing it in with a field cultivator in the spring but I wouldn't do it even if the ground underneath was dry enough to prevent making a mess.
