michigan | When I was a kid I was in a 4430 and a moldboard in furrow plow. The field was covered with sea gulls and one was down in the furrow just ahead of the tractor
and could not seem to flap his wings wide enough to fly out. I accidentally bumped the quad shift up a gear and he got plowed under before I could stop!
It is amazing how fast the rest of them left the field and I never saw them again that day. | |
