Jeff:

We ran trials for BASF at Tribune for several years (09 and 10 maybe?). I took leaf disease ratings and we took them to yield. As I recall we never seen any differences. But as you know I'm always supportive of replicated on-farm trials.

Everything on station is harvested with a row-crop head so I can't speak to that. Our stand-ability issues there always have much more to do with hybrid selection or hybrid x year interaction.

Look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Lucas

Thanks Lucas.

Syngenta has some nice rebates for milo application, so it is fairly inexpensive. They have some nice pictures and all that, but everybody is selling something worth 5 bu/ac.

I'm not optomostic it will help stand ability but I'm hoping it will. We used to plant Garst 5624 and it would stand like an oak tree and we could get it to yield. Anyway, they can't get the parent varieties to germinate, so they trashed it. So we've found some varieties that will stand sometimes, but not with any consistency, so fungicide is worth a shot I guess.
