eastern Kansas | We just bought a deere 1790 with air bag down pressure system on it. Not sure I am to excited about it as I am worried that we won't pay enough attention or have air leaks and effect down pressure. Anyway, I am sure every situation is differnt but we are going to be no tilling corn into bean stubble. The ground is real mellow in most situations and had NH3 knifed in at an angle on 30' centers. Where is a good starting point on PSI for down pressure. If it matters probably will not have very much corn in the hoppers since we have small fields and plant several hybrids, but we do have a 400 gal liquid tank on for starter. Can't find any recommendations in the book at all | |
