Subject: RE: Horned vs polled

North Central Texas

We just yesterday bought 7 Horned Hereford Bulls.  We have tried the polled and feel that they are genetically inferior.  We feel that the horned bulls will produce better mothers. Sorry, only my opinion.  We process calves through the chute at 450-500 lbs. and don't feel that knipping a few horns is any problem if they exist
