As far as respiratory issues gear, could you use tetracycline powder with your machine? Would be kinda hard to mix in with the replacer and get an even mix I suppose. Do you think it has something to do with your ventilation system in your barn? Just throwing out some ideas... Not sure why you would have more issues with an automatic feeder as opposed to feeding in buckets, even taking into account the spit swapping that calves do in a group setting. A good comprehensive vac program goes a long way to healthier calves too, so I think you're working in the right direction there. Hope you get things figured out!
