| We side dress corn at about v6. Also put some 28% through pivots. Want a pre side dress N test to see results quickly and apply needed amount instead of just going with pre set rate as have done in past. Concerned a leaf tissue test would not account for what is in soil "reserve", so would still result in over applying? A traditional soil test has a long turnaround time. What I really want is Solum no-wait nitrate test, but the machine is $10,000 lease anually (purchase is not an option). Experience/suggestions? | |
