| Switched to blood test here and will continue to use it for many reasons. Did 100 head for $2.75 each (find a vet to do it for that), also with blood you can tell pregnancy at 28 days after conception (once again find a regular vet that can do that, our embryologist can but most vets can't without an ultrasound), you don't have to worry about someone being to rough palpating and losing an early pregnancy, the only thing you have to watch is to be sure they are 70 days post calving when drawing blood. It is pretty simple to do even a dumby like myself had it figured out after 10 head. | |
