The Shell Knob Basin (Southwest Missouri) | and as long as we're discussing it, your feeding 8.5lbs per head per day of ADM's AminoGain?? Did i get that right?? and its $380 a ton ($0.19 a pound)... That means your feeding them $1.62 worth per head per day for JUST THE AMINOGAIN?? Thats not including the little bit of corn, and all the rest of the balance of the ration?? Is that all correct?? .... which if so, why?? What is your rational there?? Are you using it as your only supplemental protein source?? wouldnt some decent southern kansas alflafa or 5lbs of some $250 a ton distillers and a bag of lysine supplement sure enough do the trick for about 1/2 the cost... and also allow you to get the extra energy thats contained in the fat of the distillers??
