Subject: Rawson drives

Alberta
Hi Guys,
Need to borrow some knowledge from guys do VR. I have a cart that I want to do 2 tank VR with and maybe take it up from there. Looking at Rawson drives or making some of my own. What is the general consensus on the Rawson's, power wise, smoothness in running, tough, and how is the controller to use. Also what is the diff between the Accurate and Accuplant.
The option to do my own is that the company that does the monitoring on our tank makes hyd motor controls so I would just have to add motors with electric flow controls and they would do the tie ins. it would be cheaper than the Rawson and have less cab clutter.
Just looking for some thoughts and things to watch out for like calibration tricks and maint issues
Thanks
Curt
