Subject: How does the wheat look down south?

How does the wheat look in Oklahoma and parts of Texas? I've taken a brief tour and southwest Kansas dryland doesn't look too bad, its got a nice green color and has outgrown the drill ridges. I was down around Perryton yesterday and depending on how and when the wheat was planted, it didn't look all that good, but they did have a good snow on it a couple weeks ago so there should be some subsoil moisture there. My dad has a section sw of Perryton and he said he's got about 2 feet of profile and has a great stand. I'm heading back to North Dakota (I know its gonna be cold) but I need to move some equipment back home (Ulysses KS) then I'm going to take a road trip into Western Oklahoma all the way down to Abilene TX to start knocking on doors and talking with elevator managers about custom harvest work for the summer. Maybe the nice weather here in Kansas today is getting me antsy and I'm just speaking out loud. But I'm really ready for spring/summer to get here.
