Subject: Seeding grass after soybeans?

Garrett County, MD
I have a landlord who is going to build a horse arena in one of his fields. He wants us to seed down the field to make pasture around the arena. As per our lease we will do so. The field will be corn this year. We are suppose to seed it in 2014 to establish good grass for 2015. In the past we have seeded oats with grass seed sown in early spring, but at this point I cant see doing that as we don't have a good market for oats ( we grow corn and soybeans). Has anyone successfully direct seeded pasture grasses (orchardgrass, etc.) after taking soybeans off the end of September? This would be no-till drilled.
